Within Tàrbena, a small Spanish village, almost every Artists that is here paints the landscape of ‘La Sierra de Bernia’ or the mountain range of Bernia. It is a massive focal point in the town as there are many viewing spots to view the beauty of the mountain. The Bernia is often painted during the day because the colours change depending on the light, sometimes it’s almost purple. Other times it is all sorts of dramatic colours changing in different seasons, times of day etc. This painting is inspired by this mountain but to be more in the style of SueX, it is firstly painted at night and secondly it is painted in a fairytale approach. The night dragon lives within the Bernia and she is trying to entice the Tigers who sleep on the clouds with a fish that she’s caught from the Mediterranean, so that they will follow her into the Bernia. It is SueX’s first nightime painting, when everything comes alive...

Print itself measures 30x22cm, fully mounted measures 42x36cm. When mounted, your giclée print is mounted in a bevel cut window mount so it's ready to display.

What is a Giclée Print?

Giclée printing has significant advantages over traditional methods of artwork reproduction such as incomparable quality. It is the method of digital printing, based on printing small droplets of ink on fineart papers by high resolution, large format printers. This process produces pure colour, continuous-tone images without visible dots or patterns, as close to the original artworks.

Why Giclée?

As a general rule, one could say that the life of a giclée print will exceed the life of the owner, provided that a minimum standard of care is taken when handling, exposing or storing. It is this longevity as well as the method of printing that makes such high-quality prints of the original art.
